2017 Academic Scholarship Available

Washington Lodge # 3, Free & Accepted Masons of Williston, Vermont is pleased to announce its 2017 Academic Scholarship.

The scholarship is open to all currently enrolled college students who have completed at least one semester of higher education and are residents of the towns of Burlington, Charlotte, Colchester, Hinesburg, St. George, Shelburne, South Burlington or Williston.

Relatives of Washington # 3 Lodge members, meeting these residency requirements, are also eligible.
The scholarship recipient must submit their high school transcript plus a transcript covering at least one semester or one quarter from an accredited institution of higher learning such as a four-year university, a four-year college, a technical college, a two-year junior college or an accredited trade school and expect to continue their education in the Fall of 2017.  One (1) grant to the institution of ($1,000) thousand dollars is available, to be administered by the institution in the name of the recipient.

The recipient will be selected by the Washington Lodge Scholarship Committee on the basis of financial need, their college scholastic record and their essay.

The application must be received by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017.
